[Poster's comment - this last is ridiculous - how could any teacher ever know, when you are in fifth grade, what factual information you will need during your adult life? The purpose of a decent education is to teach you to think in a number of different areas and that process requires the use of some factual information. Education, thinking and knowledge never hurt anyone. So ponder this one - and consider its stupidity.]
