The Happy Professor

This next post is personal for me and I can't help but talk about it. I had a Philosophy professor in an undergrad evening class who was into some sort of happy medicine. He would often show up to class and just stare at us through glassy eyes for most of the hour-and-a-half of class twice a week, occasionally spouting a bit of philosophy about the importance of Adam and Eve. Those of us in the class would snicker a bit, then wonder why in hell we were shelling out all of our money for this nonsense - but then - it was a required course for my major so we tolerated it and all got A's.
