After carefully examining every inch of sidewalk within a four block radius of his home Tuesday, local dog Sigmund, 4, finally found the absolutely perfect place to squat down on his hind legs and void his bowels.

Making The Most of Your E-Mail

The Onion takes a look at spam emails and sort of begs the question, how stupid do you have to be to bite on the too-good-to-be-true offers? There must be a bunch of people out there jumping on the stuff or the spammers would stop.

When I looked closer at the deals, some natural questions started popping up. First of all, would the cash they were offering be available immediately? Would refinancing my home loan lower my monthly payments, even if I took out some cash? Would I have to wait, or could I sign up today? Luckily, as I investigated the claims, the all-caps words IMMEDIATE CASH, LOWER RATES, and TODAY assuaged my concerns.
