Really Old Photos

I've always enjoyed American history and recently I found a PowerPoint presentation of some really old photos from the early 1900's out on the web. I've posted it in my documents here on Google. Click on the link below to watch it. There are 50 photos so it might load a little slowly.

Once the page has loaded, click on "View" on the menu bar, then click on "Start presentation."

Another PowerPoint slide show I found on the Internet. Some really interesting pictures. The original had some great music playing in the background, but that does not translate to embedding the slide show here. If anyone reading this knows how to import the music as well as the photos, please let me know.

If you've been reading this site for long, you've seen me host some on a file-sharing site, but there is a delay for free downloads. Now I've found a site that allows free uploads and creates a file that can be embedded here. SlideShare.

100 Excellent Military Photographs

I haven't posted any downloads for quite a while and I've got a boatload of Shockwave files and PowerPoint files that need to be downloaded for you to see. I can't find any way to post these to Blogger or any other sites where they can be embedded. It takes forever to convert the PowerPoint slide shows into videos or even Blogger slide shows, so this is how I do it...

Download a PowerPoint slide show from a file sharing site called 4Shared (I can post there for free, but you'll be faced with a brief delay and an ad in order to download). Once you've got the file downloaded you can watch it on your own computer. A free PowerPoint viewer is available from Microsoft (do a Google search for "free PowerPoint viewer" and Google will lead the way).
