Test post of slide show

Test post of slide show with GIF images... Updated - this works, but you need to page through the slides one-by-one, not press the play button - slides move too fast in slide show mode.

Bruno's Garden

Cute Animals

Another PowerPoint slide show I scarfed from the Internet. There was some cute music in the background, but that does not translate into this Blogger slide show.

How Many Can You Recognize?

This is not the best of PowerPoint slide shows I've run across on the Internet, but it's fun for us old timers.

Chainsaw Art

I posted a slide show below, courtesy of Google. It features 29 photos of some chainsaw art that is pretty amazing and was sent to me in one of those viral emails that gets sent all over the world.

To play the slide show, click on the play button in the center of the slide show window. If you are so fascinated with the photos that you would like to view them as larger, still images, you can click on the album name in the lower corner of the paused slide show window.

Another Slide Show

This slide show explores the cosmos - and explains a bit about powers of ten. Not my creation, but very well done.

Slide Share

I've got a bunch 0f PowerPoint slide shows that I've gathered in my web-hunting over the years, but it has always been a bit of a pain to post them here. If you've been reading this site for long, you've seen me host some on a file-sharing site, but there is a delay for free downloads. Now I've found a site that allows free uploads and creates a file that can be embedded here. SlideShare.

Here's another slide show for you - cute photos of animals and people.

Note: You can view the slides full-screen by clicking on the little screen emblem in the lower-right control panel of the slide show.

100 Excellent Military Photographs

I haven't posted any downloads for quite a while and I've got a boatload of Shockwave files and PowerPoint files that need to be downloaded for you to see. I can't find any way to post these to Blogger or any other sites where they can be embedded. It takes forever to convert the PowerPoint slide shows into videos or even Blogger slide shows, so this is how I do it...

Download a PowerPoint slide show from a file sharing site called 4Shared (I can post there for free, but you'll be faced with a brief delay and an ad in order to download). Once you've got the file downloaded you can watch it on your own computer. A free PowerPoint viewer is available from Microsoft (do a Google search for "free PowerPoint viewer" and Google will lead the way).

100GreatestMilitaryPhotographs.pps (click here) or click on the image at right to link to 4Shared for the file on Military photos. Warning - some of the photos are a little gruesome.
